IELTS Test Structure
There are two IELTS tests available – IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training.
The four modules for the Test are:
- Listening
- Reading
- Writing
- Speaking
Scoring in IELTS is done on a band scale of 0-9, for each module. The overall band score is the average of the scores of the four modules.
Academic and General Training:
There are two types of IELTS tests – Academic Training (AT) and General Training (GT). The difference is only in Reading and Writing Modules. Listening and Speaking Modules are the same for both General Training and Academic Training. The tests are designed to cover the full range of ability from non-user to expert user.
Training at BJVV
Our coaching aims at:

- Imparting training in strategies for taking the test.
We provide excellent opportunities to develop the four skills – Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. Special attention is paid to improve the speaking skill. Every error in grammar and vocabulary is corrected and explained in the writing module and students are encouraged to practise writing and reading on a variety of topics. Mock tests are conducted periodically to assess the learner’s progress. The effectiveness of our system is reflected in the excellent scores secured by our students.
